Intersport Elverys are seeking an experienced and passionate photographer with a strong focus on product imagery to join our Ecommerce Creative Team. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with various departments to plan, execute, and deliver high-quality in-house ecommerce photography. This role encompasses studio setup, lighting, equipment maintenance, image editing, quality control, stock management, and 360-degree spin production.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled photographer looking to supplement their creative practice with a flexible part-time role (20-25 hours per week) based at our Castlebar Head Office.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the product content team to identify and prioritize products requiring ecommerce imagery.
Maintain and update product lists to ensure timely and accurate image production.
Coordinate with the buying and warehouse teams to acquire products for imagery efficiently.
Prepare and steam products for photography sessions.
Work closely with the creative team to ensure that established standards and guidelines are consistently adhered to.
Capture high-quality product photographs in a studio environment.
Retouch and enhance product images using Photoshop to meet specified standards.
Accurately name, file, and archive images for easy access and bulk uploading to our ecommerce platform.
· Understanding of producing images for web use especially in relation to file formats and optimising for page download speeds
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shoot environment, ensuring that equipment and backgrounds are stored properly when not in use.
· Ability to produce a large quantify of product imagery in a timely manner in line with launch dates
Key Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in Photoshop and image retouching is essential.
Ability to work methodically to produce consistent and high-quality imagery within set deadlines.
· Time Management, you will be an expert at managing your time and output during busy trading periods
Proven experience as a photographer, with a strong understanding of the fundamentals of studio lighting.
Experience in optimizing images for web use.
Ability to follow detailed instructions to achieve the desired photographic outcome.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and time constraints.
Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent organizational and file management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in creating 360 product spins is an advantage.
Video production and editing experience would be an asset.
A portfolio showcasing fashion, ecommerce, or product photography is an advantage.
