Intersport Elverys are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join one of the leading ecommerce operations in Ireland. You will be key member of the senior team responsible for defining, planning and implementing our Digital Marketing strategy. This comes at an exciting time of growth in the company, following a 300% growth in online sales over the past 5 years, you will work closely with the Head of Online to define and implement the next exciting growth phase.

You will be exposed to cutting edge Digital Marketing & Ecommerce technologies, work with leading agencies and managing a large digital marketing budget. You will be joining an innovative agile team of 15 professionals working closely with the Head of Online and managing 2-3 direct reports.

Responsibilities-

·         Define, plan and manage the Intersport Elverys Digital Marketing strategy. There are 2 key aspects to this:

o    Firstly, you will be responsible for ensuring all digital marketing campaigns are activated in our seasonal marketing calendar.

o    Secondly, you will be responsible for planning and implementing long term strategic digital marketing plans and projects that drive incremental growth online.

·         Data Analytics and Reporting - Analyse, track KPI’s and identify opportunities across key digital marketing channels including – Paid Search & Shopping, Paid Social, SEO, Email Marketing, Personalisation & Content Strategy -  you need to be an expert in Data Analytics and reporting, and love getting stuck into big data to find opportunities to optimise and increase revenue.

·         Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure seasonal campaigns defined in the marketing calendar are implemented across digital channels. 

·         Day-to-day reporting of digital marketing activity and online sales performance

·         Manage a team of 2-3 direct reports.

·         Set objectives, priorities and manage the workloads of the digital marketing team working collaboratively on design, ad copy and creative output.

·         Constantly looking to improve processes and performance through A/B testing and analysis of campaign creatives

·         Identify digital marketing opportunities to increase revenue and brand awareness. 

·         Manage and maintain strong ongoing relationships with 3rd party suppliers and brands.

·         Work closely with our paid search and social agency by providing campaign briefs, objectives with defined budgets and ROAS targets.

·         Monitor digital ad spend to meet and exceed agreed monthly KPIs including revenue targets, ROAS, CPC & loyalty subscribers.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Ecommerce, Merchandising, Design, Marketing, Buying & Finance.

Key Skills & Experience

·         6 + Years Digital Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated experience in all key areas of Digital Marketing - paid search & shopping, paid social, video, SEO, email marketing, analytics, personalisation, website content, graphic design, loyalty and CRM, omnichannel, campaign briefing, reporting and performance tracking.

·         Expert Analytical & Reporting Skills: You know that Digital Marketing success is underpinned by an ability to analyse and interpret large amount of data, you will need to be an expert in, and spend a large amount of time reviewing and interpreting data and looking for key insights that will improve performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth.

·         Google Analytics / GA 4 certified – You are certified in Google Analytic or other Digital Marketing analytics package  

·         Microsoft Excel & Google sheets – you need to be a power user of both applications

·         Retail Experience – you are familiar with fast pace and seasonality of sports, apparel or footwear retail.

·         Adaptability: The ability to meet tight deadlines & flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions

·         Time Management: You will be an expert at managing your time and others, you will need to handle pressure and strict deadlines during busy trading periods  

·         Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long term strategic plans to drive online sales growth

·         Cross-functional team collaboration: excellent experience working with cross functional teams

·         Results Orientation: Proven track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth in an ecommerce environment.

·         Commercial Acumen: Strong business acumen and commercial awareness to understand market dynamics, and revenue optimisation techniques.
